Plan "A"

Before the move I put together this design board as a jumping off point for how I wanted to decorate.  I've changed my mind about a few things now that we are in the space, but I still really love these pieces!

Wallflowers

I have a pretty large empty wall above the couch in the living room and I've been thinking that a cluster of botanical prints would fill the space nicely while bringing some color into the room.

The best part is that these great vintage prints are easily available on Etsy (my favorites here are from seller mysunshinevintage) for really reasonable prices!

And of course the beautiful prints from one of my most favorite collections ever - Stella McCartney Resort 2011

Wouldn't these would look great as a contrast in a really modern and minimal space?

(Too-Much) To-Do

So it's about time I start making my way down the long to-do list I've put together for the new apartment!

I think it's safe to say we've officially moved on from the "we're still unpacking" phase (which, let's be honest, we've been done for weeks.) to the "it's time to get settled" phase.  To me that means finding a final resting place for all the little odds and ends that don't have a permanent home, color coding the books on the shelves, and plugging in the loose cords that seem to get shuffled around from one outlet to another.

Where should I start for the most instant gratification?!
